I’m new to counted cross stitch. Is this for beginners?
Absolutely! We have kits suitable for all skill levels. Each kit comes with easy-to-follow instructions to guide you every step of the way.

What’s included in a Luca-S cross stitch kit?
Each kit includes high-quality Zweigart fabric, Anchor, Luca-S or DMC threads, a needle, charted instructions, and a color guide. Everything you need to get started!
What is the difference between counted cross stitch and stamped cross stitch?
In counted cross stitch, you follow a chart and count stitches on a blank fabric. Stamped cross stitch has the pattern pre-printed on the fabric. Luca-S specializes in counted cross stitch for a more refined finish and traditional crafting experience.
How do I choose the right kit for my skill level?
Our kits are labelled by difficulty out of 5 Skill Levels, each kits has this mentioned in the description. You may prefer smaller designs with fewer colors, if you are a beginner.
What should I do if I run out of thread or lose a part of my kit?
Just reach out to us at support@luca-s.com with your kit name and the item you’re missing. We’re happy to help with replacements.
Can I wash my finished cross stitch piece?
Yes, but gently! Hand wash with lukewarm water and mild soap. Avoid scrubbing or wringing. Let it air dry flat, then press on the back side with a warm iron.
Can I get the PDF version of the pattern?
Due to our privacy reasons we are unable to provide the patterns for our kits that use Anchor threads. We will gladly provide you the PDF pattern for the kits that use Luca-S threads.
